JESUS IS THE HOPE OF MANKIND!
Jesus is the one and only Son of God. He was sent by God to live the perfect life we cannot live and to die the death we deserve for our sins in our place. He was a miracle worker, teacher, prophet, priest and king… but HE IS SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! Jesus is the Savior of the World and the only Hope of all mankind!
Whoever places their trust in Jesus will find life, purpose, meaning, joy, forgiveness, peace, and significance. This does not mean there will never be any problems in this lifetime, but it means we have a new source of strength to face even our toughest days. The greatest thing about trusting Jesus is the forgiveness of sins and promise of eternal life He provides. There is no other way to forgiveness or peace with God other than through faith in Jesus Christ.
If you would like to trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior, there are three key concepts you must understand.
1) Admit you are a sinner. All have sinned. Sin is breaking God’s commands or laws. Only Jesus was perfect. Everyone else has fallen short of God’s standards of holiness. The penalty of our sin is death. However, Jesus died on our behalf so if we trust Him we do not have to fear death.
2) Believe in Jesus only. Jesus is the only way to peace with God. The second essential step to trusting Jesus is to believe He is who the Bible says He is. This does not mean you need to know everything about the Bible, but it does mean you need to trust Jesus as your only hope for forgiveness and heaven. Put all of your trust in Jesus and Jesus only and you will have no fear of condemnation.
3) Confess Jesus as your Lord. Lord means master, boss, leader. This final step means you surrender to Jesus and His leadership over your life. You give up your agenda, your plans, and control of your life and surrender it to the control of Jesus. You say “No longer my will, but yours King Jesus.” Jesus wants to be the leader of your life. If you will trust Him with it He will do amazing things you never thought were possible.
